Hope Pendant-Arch #2
Making these pendants was a meditative process that made me feel hopeful, hence the name. I have used bright, favourite colours inspired by Nepali daphne bark paper. The designs are hand painted on using acrylic paint and the pieces are twice sealed for durability. Each design is unique so you will never see anyone wearing identical pieces to you! I have used coloured jump rings to allow movement of the pieces which are light and very wearable. The pendant is approx. 5cm wide and 5cm deep.
I make my own hand twisted cords which allow the wearer to wear the pendant at whatever length suits them and their outfits. Even the cords have a hint of the Himalayas because i purchased them in a tiny shop in Kathmandu. Infused with memories and love!
