Screen Print Greeting Cards with Your Own Design
Join Trove designer Rebecca of Blue Radish for a fun morning learning how to screen print greeting cards using a process you can replicate at home. At the end of the 3 hour workshop you will take home a set of 6 screen printed greeting cards, with envelopes, in your own design to wow your family and friends.
You will use the ‘screen filler’ method to create a silkscreen stencil of your design and then print the design onto quality card. All equipment and materials will be provided plus you will go home with full and detailed instructions to repeat the process at home.
A yummy homemade morning tea will also be provided.
This workshop is aimed at the complete beginner and will also suit someone with a little experience of screen printing who wants to learn the screen filler method, or just needs a refresh. Participants should be 15 years old or over.
This workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants to go ahead. If we are unable to run the workshop you will be contacted in advance with a full refund.
About your teacher
Having first learnt to screen print in high school (ask her about that hideous bunny rabbit t-shirt-dress!), Rebecca has been screen printing for her brand, Blue Radish for about ten years now. In former lives, Rebecca was also a primary school teacher and trainer of adults and she retains a passion for helping people to learn, particularly when it comes to exploring their own creativity.
